FirstEnergy demonstrated its commitment to community involvement recently by sponsoring and participating in several events in West Virginia. Employees who volunteered their time enjoyed fostering stronger connections with the residents and organizations.

Relay for Life of Marion County: The American Cancer Society raises funds and awareness for cancer research, prevention and support for those affected by cancer. It typically involves teams of people taking turns walking or running around a track or path, symbolizing the ongoing fight against cancer.

Morgantown Area Heart Walk: The American Heart Association raises money and awareness for heart disease, as well as stroke research, prevention and treatment. The event aims to honor survivors, remember those who have died, and raise funds to improve heart health in the community.

Fairmont Pride: The annual event is a time for people to come together and celebrate diversity and promote equality and inclusion. The event featured various activities, parades, live performances and educational sessions.
