The Illuminating Company (CEI) presented the President’s Safety Excellence Award to Lines employees at the Ashtabula Service Center. The 42 employees in the group recently celebrated four years without an OSHA-recordable incident.

“Working safely takes a dedication to following the proper procedures on each and every job,” says John Skory, regional president, CEI. “We commend members of the Ashtabula Lines group for their safety focus on a team and individual basis.”

Bargaining-unit employees at CEI are represented by Utility Workers Union of America Local 270.
