Making a Difference at Met-Ed

November 6, 2020

The York City Parks Conservancy is grateful for the support of FirstEnergy and FirstEnergy Foundation. We recently contributed a $10,000 check toward the conservancy’s capital campaign. The funds will support the Broad Street Greenway portion of its Memorial Park Project. The Greenway will be extended along a stream and provide access to the corridor’s natural setting for recreation and nature study.

Members of the aDAPT Project Team, along with a few Met-Ed employees, safely volunteered their time with Keystone Military Families in Shoemakersville. The group helped sort and package items from the Helping Harvest food truck for local military families.
