FirstEnergy continues to encourage employees to get vaccinated to protect themselves and those around them from the spread of COVID-19. To assist with this effort, a vaccine clinic recently was held at the Reading-Pottsville Pike location in Reading, Pa., and 54 employees took advantage of the opportunity.

“We’re glad we could offer this important health measure to employees,” said Linda Moss, regional president, Met-Ed. “Thanks to everyone who helped to make this event possible, the clinic ran smoothly with medical professionals from AmeriSafe administering the Pfizer vaccine to employees.”

The event was scheduled based on survey responses received from interested employees. Although it was held in Reading, the clinic was open to all FirstEnergy personnel. Employees who received their shots can use up to four hours of CV-19 time for each dose administered during their normal working hours.
