Employees at the following operating companies were honored for their safety commitment.

The Illuminating Company (CEI)

• Concord – Thirty-five employees in the Lines group surpassed two years without an OSHA-recordable incident.

Bargaining-unit employees at CEI are represented by Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) Local 270.

Potomac Edison

• Cumberland – The service center’s 54 employees celebrated one year without an OSHA recordable on May 3.

UWUA Local 102 represents bargaining-unit employees at Potomac Edison.

Employees at Potomac Edison’s Cumberland service center achieved one-year of OSHA-free work.

West Penn Power

• Butler – The service center achieved four years without an OSHA recordable and more than one year without a CMVA on May 11. There are 55 employees in the group.

Bargaining-unit employees at West Penn Power are represented by UWUA Local 102.

Penelec

• Montrose – Twenty-eight employees at the site achieved one year without an OSHA recordable.

Bargaining-unit employees at Montrose are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electric Workers (IBEW) Local 459.
