30 Years of Safety Excellence
October 18, 2022
Employees in the Transformer and Rubber Goods Repair Shop at our Ebensburg (Pa.) facility test the protective rubber gloves and sleeves worn by our field employees. They also repair transformers, regulators, reclosers and other electrical equipment for return to inventory – which offsets purchases from vendors.
Keeping each other safe also is a top priority of the group – as evidenced by the Ebensburg shop recently eclipsing 30 years without an OSHA-recordable incident. “Members of our Ebensburg Transformer and Rubber Goods Repair Shop achieved this significant milestone by always looking out for one another and making sure safety is always No. 1,” said Jason DeCenso, general manager, Material Operations and Investment Recovery. “I want to congratulate each member of the team for this outstanding achievement.”
Thirteen employees work at the shop – which is part of the Supply Chain organization. Bargaining-unit members are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 459.
