Our FirstEnergy employees volunteered for 2022 United Way Day of Caring events. Here are a few examples of our volunteer activities.
Williamsport Service Center employees volunteered by sprucing up a local home for their United Way Day of Caring. The team power washed, trimmed trees and shrubs, repaired the porch, cleaned gutters, cleaned up the yard and repaired a door and windows.

The Cumberland and Ft. Ashby line shops volunteered for a United Way Day of Caring in Cumberland. With the help of the Potomac Edison Green Team, the group donated and planted 50 trees in Constitution Park. They also spread mulch along one of the main area roads.
Catalyst Life Services in Mansfield benefitted from our employees’ volunteerism during the Richland County United Way Summer of Caring Day. Catalyst offers counseling, therapy, case management and many other services for those with mental health needs and/or seeking crisis assistance for all ages.
