In honor of Veterans Day on Saturday, Nov. 11, the West Virginia Chapter of the Veterans & Allies Employee Business Resource Group (EBRG) will be presenting five banners to local veterans to thank them for their service. The banners were circulated to various West Virginia service centers – and to Harrison and Fort Martin power stations – so employees could add their signatures and other notes of appreciation.

“Veterans Day is one of only a few times a year when our country collectively pauses to think about our veterans and thank them for the sacrifices they made defending our freedom,” said MaryBeth Payne, administrative assistant and acting coordinator, Customer Care, WV Customer Contact Centers, and co-chair of the West Virginia Chapter of the Veterans & Allies EBRG. “We appreciate our fellow West Virginia Operations employees for taking the time to sign the banners so we can show our local veterans how much they mean to the community.”

The banners are being presented to the following West Virginia facilities to commemorate Veterans Day:

Employees from Clarksburg, Gassaway, Webster Springs and Weston-Buckhannon service centers, the Fairmont Contact Center, Harrison Power Station and Mon Power Headquarters signed the banner.
