It takes a lot of courage, focus and collaboration to safely restore power following a major storm impacting more than half-a-million customers with widespread damage.

But that’s what our employees, contractors, mutual assistance partners and support personnel did following the Aug. 6 storm in Ohio.

It also takes sincere patience on our customers’ part to wait for the lights to come back on.

Despite the inconvenience, many customers expressed their gratitude to our crews in uniquely uplifting ways.
