When it comes to business aviation, our FirstEnergy Flight Operations group is first class. One member of the team, Flight Logistics Lead Spring Adamo, was recently recognized by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) with the Schedulers & Dispatchers Outstanding Achievement and Leadership Award.

The honor recognizes individuals who share their business aviation industry expertise, provide extraordinary service, exhibit leadership and make significant contributions to the scheduling and dispatching function.

“Spring demonstrates her commitment to excellence and integrity every day and works closely with her team to keep flights running smoothly and safely at FirstEnergy,” said Todd Fite, director of Flight Operations. “She is a passionate and respected member of the corporate aviation community, dedicating her time and energy to help make the profession, her colleagues and our company the best they can be. For these reasons and many more, we are honored to work with Spring and applaud her recognition by the NBAA,” Todd said.

While attending an aviation conference at the age of 17, Spring discovered her dream job.

“I found my profession – and my passion – before I had even earned my high school diploma,” Spring said. “I’m so grateful for this award and for the support I’ve received from my fellow schedulers and dispatchers for more than 36 years. I feel fortunate to work at FirstEnergy, a company that empowers me to grow as a professional, contribute to my team’s success and drive positive change within my professional community.”

In her flight logistics role, Spring works to exemplify Performance Excellence, demonstrating critical thinking, organization and compassion – and a commitment to continuous improvement while serving her internal customers.
