Check Out Our Green Teams

July 31, 2022

FirstEnergy’s Green Teams have been making a difference across our service territory over the past few years. And their impact continues to grow. The teams are driven by diverse employees committed to operating our business in an environmentally responsible manner, through the sound use of natural resources and the advancement of sustainable practices. This effort helps to ensure a clean environment for our families, communities and the customers we serve for generations to come. Members of our Green Teams are doing this and more by implementing and supporting waste reduction and recycling at FirstEnergy facilities, protecting and advancing natural resources and wildlife, and assisting employees in using Volunteer Time Off (VTO) hours for team-sponsored activities.
