FirstEnergy Akron Marathon is Off and Running – Virtually

The 18th annual FirstEnergy Akron Marathon is going virtual this year. Give a virtual cheer to our 27 FirstEnergy runners who are among 2,000 participants in the marathon, half marathon or team relay. In total, this year’s runners represent 27 states, 235 cities and two countries.
Here’s a rundown of this year’s events:
Virtual Health & Fitness Expo
Friday, Sept. 25
An interactive virtual expo for runners and health and wellness enthusiasts
Virtual Races
Saturday, Sept. 26 – Saturday, Oct. 31
Runners complete their events on a date of choice during this week. The Akron Marathon will be sharing digital content via Facebook at @runAkron, Instagram @AkronMarathon.
