FirstEnergy showed its commitment to honoring and supporting veterans by donating $5,000 to Operation Firm Handshake earlier this month during their annual event in Lost Creek, WV.

Operation Firm Handshake is a veterans’ organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families.

The donation took place during the organization’s Annual Day of Recognition Picnic which serves as a heartfelt tribute to the veterans of Harrison County and the surrounding regions. Several FirstEnergy employees were at the event including those who are involved in our Veterans and Allies Employee Business Resource Group (EBRG).
