Recently members from the FirstEnergy Legal Department took part in the third annual EmPOWERing Pro Bono Day, an initiative to provide legal assistance to members of our communities in partnership with the Pro Bono Institute.

Community members had the chance to meet with an attorney for essential legal advice and assistance. The FirstEnergy Legal Department included Admins, Legal Specialists, Claims Representatives, Analysts, Attorneys and Management who addressed a range of issues – such as life planning documents for seniors, legal name changes for transgender individuals, expungement of criminal records and more.

By addressing these diverse issues for people in need of assistance, FirstEnergy helps foster stronger community bonds and promotes social responsibility among legal professionals.
