Focused on Safety

Employees in the following JCP&L work groups celebrated safety milestones.
- Morristown – Fourteen employees in the Cable group at the facility celebrated nine years without an OSHA-recordable incident.
- Northern New Jersey – The Relay group’s 15 employees were recognized for eight years without a controllable motor vehicle accident (CMVA).
- Farmingdale – Transmission Construction & Maintenance marked three years without an OSHA recordable. There are 30 employees in the group.
- Wall – Utility Construction & Maintenance has driven three years without a CMVA. There are 14 employees in the group.
- Dover – The Lines group has gone three years without a CMVA. Forty-seven employees work in the group.
- Phillipsburg-Washington – Meter Reading achieved one year without an OSHA recordable. Fourteen employees are in the group.
- Newton – Twenty-nine employees in the Lines group have driven one year without a CMVA.
- Howell – Meter Services attained one year without a CMVA. The group is comprised of 47 employees.
Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1289.
