The FirstEnergy Products group is now able to offer home emergency repair service programs in New Jersey through HomeServe USA, a leading provider of home emergency repair service programs. Because New Jersey regulations do not allow regulated utility companies like Jersey Central Power & Light to offer these programs, we established FirstEnergy Home to make these products and services available to New Jersey homeowners. FirstEnergy has been working with HomeServe for years, offering these services in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland.

The programs are designed to help homeowners save money on urgent household repairs for problems not typically covered by basic homeowner’s insurance – problems like interior/exterior electrical wiring, heating and cooling systems, water heaters and water/sewer/septic lines.
