Chuck’s cover photo for Electric Perspectives magazine was taken outside of the Aetna Substation in Akron.

President and CEO Chuck Jones is featured on the cover of the current issue of Electric Perspectives magazine from the Edison Electric Institute (EEI).

In the story, Chuck details how our recently published five-year strategic plan – Energized by Possibilities – will address the changing needs of our diverse customer base; enable a strong, secure and technologically advanced electric system; and leverage emerging technologies to support the energy grid of the future.

“The EEI magazine article provided a great opportunity to highlight the dedicated efforts of FirstEnergy employees to achieving our mission of making our customers’ lives brighter, the environment better, and our communities stronger,” Chuck said.
