The following work groups at JCP&L achieved recent safety milestones:

• Allenhurst – Meter Reading has driven 10 years without a controllable motor vehicle accident (CMVA). There are 16 employees in the group.
• West Wharton – Sixteen employees in the Transmission group celebrated seven years without an OSHA-recordable incident.
• Newton – The Lines group has worked three years without an OSHA recordable. There are 29 employees in the group.
• Lakewood – Fifteen employees in Utility Construction & Maintenance achieved two years without a CMVA.
• Old Bridge – Thirty-four employees in the Lines group have driven two years without a CMVA.
• Northern New Jersey – The Mobile Construction Group reached one year of OSHA-free work. There are 11 employees in the group.

Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1289.
