Ohio Edison recognized the following work groups for their safety commitment:

• Springfield – Meter Services celebrated 21 years without an OSHA-recordable incident on Oct. 12. The group’s three employees also achieved three years without a controllable motor vehicle accident (CMVA).
• Massillon – Twenty-eight employees in the Lines group achieved nine years without an OSHA recordable and four years without a CMVA. Bargaining-unit members are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1194.
• Marion – Meter Reading celebrated eight years of working OSHA free on Oct. 8. Five employees work in the group. IBEW Local 1194 represents union members.
• Macedonia – The Lines group achieved three years of OSHA-free work on Oct. 2. Members also have driven three years without a CMVA. There are 14 employees in the group. Utility Workers Union of America Local 126 represents bargaining-unit members.
