During a Veterans & Allies Employee Business Group (EBRG) brainstorming meeting, members Marni Watkins, Customer Quality Assurance specialist, and Amy Lacey, IT Governance & Control specialist II, came up with an idea to show support for all military branches.

Marni, whose father was a Command Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army, came up with the idea of a t-shirt sale for employees benefiting the Ohio Chapter of ‘Packages for Warriors’. Amy was inspired by her son, who serves in the army, to start the organization’s Ohio chapter.

The fundraiser was a great success, raising $6,050 in just two weeks. The funds raised will go towards supporting the ‘Packages for Warriors’ initiative and its mission to send care packages to members of the military deployed overseas.

For every $25.00 donation made, donors qualified for a Veterans & Allies t-shirt, which will be fulfilled through email communication and delivery to intercompany mailstops.
