We asked and you delivered! Collectively, you donated more than 100 pounds of aluminum pull tabs to the Green Teams’ fourth quarter recycling campaign benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).

The successful campaign, which ran from October to December last year, involved collecting clean pull tabs from a variety of household aluminum cans such as those used for beverages, soup, pet food and other canned goods.

The tabs translate into money for the charity, as they can be recycled for cash at scrap metal recycling facilities. The small gesture of collecting and donating tabs keeps them out of landfills while raising funds for RMHC’s operations, keeping its facilities and services free of cost to the families who need them. RMHC provides a home away from home to families with sick children around the world, who must travel far from home for medical treatment.
