Empower

Empower is a user-friendly digital resource that is accessible through any computer or mobile device. It is a one-stop resource for retirees to access information and perform tasks such as updating contact information (address, phone number, email, etc.), checking pension statements (if receiving), updating direct deposit bank account information, reviewing life insurance information (if eligible) and contacting the HR Help Desk for assistance.

While signing up for Empower, enter the month and day of your birth using the MM-DD (with a dash between the month and day) format.

Pension Calculator

If you have not commenced your pension benefit, you can run pension estimates using an online tool.*

*Pension participants (including former FirstEnergy employees) can run as many pension estimates as needed for retirement planning. First-time users need to confirm their identity, then set up an account. Simply follow the prompts. If you have any questions, contact Aon (the plan’s third-party administrator and actuary) at 1-855-326-8167.

2023 Tax Forms

2023 Form 1099s and Form W-2s are being mailed by ADP during the week of January 23, 2024.  You can also access the forms online. Note: if you previously registered with ADP as an active employee, you will not need to register again.
